Today four of us traveled up to East Tiger Mountain to hike the Iverson Railroad Trail. Unfortunately, it was closed for the season, which was both unexpected & lame. So, we decided to hike an alternate trail in the same area, the NW Timber Trail, but that, too, was closed. We finally gave up & headed down to the Auburn Game Farm which Victoria had mentioned to us earlier this week. This was a nice little trail along the White River, which was running quite high with the recent rains we've been having. We got rained on a little bit while on the trail, but it didn't really start coming down until we were done, thank goodness. It was a nice little salvage of our less than stellar hike at Tiger Mountain.
